Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"Public dollars should not go to private schools and especially not to religious schools. This program also needs real oversight. The current commission needs to go as his number one priority is dismantling our public schools."

Do you support giving voters who register without ID on Election Day a ballot that only counts if they return identifying documents to the state before a deadline?
"We need to make voting and registration easy. The current system is difficult and can too easily identify voters if they do not return their affidavit. Each election sees very few affidavit voters and the bill currently on the governor's desk is a solution without a problem. Rhetoric about non-citizens voting is highly exaggerated and intend as inflammatory."

Do you support New Hampshire’s current system of public school funding, with about two-thirds of total funding coming from local property taxes?
"School funding is way more complicated than a simple for/against answer. The state needs to do more for students to improve equity in opportunities - the state is not funding its share. The work done by the bi-partisan funding commission needs to see the light of day in the state house and given its chance for passage."

Should New Hampshire legalize the recreational use of marijuana by allowing home-growing and private use without sales?
"I am not convinced that fell legalization of recreational cannabis is right. I think we should look at some of the research in the economic gains and societal costs in the early adopter states of Colorado and Washington."

Should NH pass stricter gun control laws?
"As a gun owner myself, I believe that the constitutional words 'in order to maintain a well-regulated militia' are over-looked by the gun lobby. There is a sliding scale of where legal gun ownership belongs. I think we can all agree that private citizens should not own nuclear arms; and we can agree that hunting arms should be allowed. All we need to do is find that reasonable, yet arbitrary line, in the middle. I think it is closer to hunting arms and that assault weapons do not have a place in private ownership. For the strict constructionists, the 2nd amendment was written and adopted in the era of muzzleloaders and should not contemplate AR15s."
