Citizens Count Membership Benefits

Citizens Count proudly provides a host of free online resources to all of our users across the Granite State. You can access a suite of additional online tools by signing up as a Citizens Count member. By creating a free account, you can enjoy a personalized browsing experience on our site while helping support our mission. Here are some of the benefits of Citizens Count membership.

Weekly and monthly newsletters

Citizens Count offers two members-only email newsletters: the Weekly Legislative Preview and the monthly newsletter. During the legislative session, the Weekly Legislative Preview highlights state bills with opportunities for public input over the coming week. The monthly newsletter is a year-round policy digest, keeping you up-to-date on the Statehouse and Governor's Office. You can opt-in or unsubscribe from these newsletters at any time.

Candidate Comparison Tool

The Candidate Comparison Tool is the latest addition to our member benefits. This tool allows you to compare all the candidates on your ballot to see how they differ in their issue positions. Simply select your town from the dropdown menu, then select an office (or leave this blank to see all candidates for all races). You'll see a list of your candidates and where they stand on a host of important issues, from abortion and gun laws to business taxes. These issue positions primarily come from our Citizens Count Issue Survey that we send to all state and federal candidates.

Whether you're researching candidates across several races, reading our in-depth issue briefs, or learning ways to get involved in New Hampshire using our Advocacy Toolkit, you can save your favorite pages for later using the bookmark feature. This members-only function saves your bookmarked pages to your profile for you to access later.

Comment on articles

As a member, you can make your voice heard by leaving a comment on articles for other users to read and respond to. Our members often leave comments that provide additional information or context they feel is relevant to the discussion.
