Income and Sales Taxes
New Hampshire is one of only two states without an income or sales tax. The other is Alaska. The largest sources of state revenue are business taxes followed by state property tax and the tax on meals and rooms. The state's reliance on business, property, and sin taxes has lead to occasional calls for tax policy here to change.
