Suzy Colt Experience:"Suzy Colt moved to New Hampshire to begin her career as a lawyer in 1989 where she practiced at Shaines & McEachern, for 8 years before opening a private practice and then working at New Hampshire Legal Assistance at the director of the Domestic Violence Advocacy Project. She stopped practicing law to work as a caretaker/caregiver on a private horse farm until her retirement in 2017, when she moved to Whitefield, NH. She has been active in lobbying at the statehouse on issues relating to domestic violence and civil rights for the LGBTQIA+ community. She has been active in politics since she moved to NH in 1989. In 2024, she was elected as Trustee of the Trust Fund for the Town of Whitefield."
