Should New Hampshire ban abortion after 20 weeks gestation, with exceptions for cases of rape/incest and health complications?
"I am FOR banning abortion under these pretenses. People need to understand that this is not a reproductive rights issue. What I am trying to say is that I am against using abortion as a form of birth control. We need to educate our children about the ramifications of becoming sexually active. I may go against most of the Republican norms by saying I believe that reforming our stances on birth control should be an avenue to look into to prevent this topic of abortion. I am a Catholic and believe in the Right to Life. Although, I understand the decision of having to choose between your life and your child's life due to medical complications. I cannot fathom the decision making stress that come from choosing to birth a child conceived by a horrific event in your life. I truly feel for everyone who has had to make that decision. We cannot stigmatize these individuals either. I just want to abolish abortion as a alternative to birth control. I also do not want the tax payers fitting the bill for such alternative measures."

Should NH limit terms for elected officials?
"I am FOR term limits! Just look at my opponent! He has been in office for 8 terms and possibly 9... His first campaign was in 2001. I graduated high school that year. Times have changed since 2001. The era has changed. What I am finding out in my political adventure is that people's ideas and allegiances who have been in their respected parties have not wavered from their out-dated beliefs."

Should NH legalize the recreational use of marijuana?
"I am FOR the legalization of recreational marijuana. Everyone has their opinions on this topic but few see the benefits. We have already decriminalized possession of certain amounts and approved it for medicinal purposes. By legalizing marijuana, you A.) create jobs in the industry which provides a better economy B.) provides taxation opportunities that can benefit the state budget necessities C.) gives law enforcement more funding and manpower to tackle more pressing issues like the opiate crisis D.) lowers crime rates and prison overpopulation."

Should New Hampshire maintain the renewable portfolio standard, which requires public utilities in New Hampshire to obtain a certain percentage of electricity from renewable energy sources (25% by 2025)?
"I am Undecided on this issue. I see the necessity for clean and renewable energy sources here in the Granite State. When you use the word require, you are putting restrictions or mandates on a business or individual. I am in full support of whatever decisions that would lower the cost of our energy bills but I believe this 'requirement' may be what is causing these higher costs."

Should NH continue to administer statewide standards-based student assessments?
"I am AGAINST statewide standard-based assessments. I'm sure many people have heard the phase 'teaching for the test.' These standardized tests have drawn the focus of every education administration around the country because these testing results determine their way of getting funding from the government. While focusing on certain subjects that the assessment is based on, the subjects that are not touched on are health, music, art and life skills. These assessments deny the students' opportunity to creatively think and express themselves in various other ways. Many children learn in different ways and if we allow them to be assessed based only off of one criteria, the results from the assessments will be skewed from the actual brilliance and intellect of these children."

Should NH pass stricter gun control laws?
"I am against stricter gun control laws. I feel people who are FOR stricter laws do not understand the process in attaining a firearm. I was flagged by the ATF because of a discrepancy in my background check when I tried to buy my firearm. The reason was that there was someone with the same name living in the same area as me back in Harrisburg, PA. We lived in the same complex and even banked at the same bank. Somehow, my information got mixed up with his which caused me to be ineligible for the purchase of that firearm from the store here in NH. What I am saying is that the process for weeding out the good vs the bad are already set in place. Anyone who has been institutionalized for mental illness or even has a record WILL be denied. If you go any further in restrictions, you will be taking arms away from law abiding citizens of the United States which is unconstitutional as set forth by the Second Amendment."
