Supports 2nd Amendment but also assault weapons ban

Says U.S. should reduce dependence on foreign oil through increased drilling, more nuclear power generation, development of clean energy, and conservation. While he supports the EPA, he opposes cap and trade programs and is skeptical on whether climate change is man-made.

2012

As Massachusetts governor, signed law mandating that residents buy healthcare or face tax penalty; plan does not have a public option. His Massachusetts plan was the outline for Obama's national plan, however Romney favors the repeal of Obamacare.

Against same-sex marriage but also against denial of rights. Romney has pledged to support a constitutional amendment to outlaw same-sex marriage.
