Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
When asked about allocating tax revenue for private and home schooling, Renfrew-Hebert wrote, "I do not support any allocation that would drain funding from our public school system. While I support parents seeking the best possible education for their children, the effects of such a voucher system would put further strain on a public system that is already underfunded to meet the needs of our next generation of college students and employees."

"In light of the recent Dobbs decision from the US Supreme Court, and recognizing that the majority of residents support reproductive freedom, I will advocate for state-level legislation that protects and expands access to reproductive healthcare, including ensuring that the right to access safe and legal abortion is protected by state law, increasing availability and affordability of contraceptive options for all residents, Implementing programs that provide accurate and inclusive information about reproductive health, safeguarding the rights of medical professionals to provide reproductive healthcare without fear of legal repercussions. By championing these measures, we can ensure that reproductive freedom is upheld and that all individuals have the autonomy to make decisions about their own bodies."

"If elected, I pledge to advocate for legislation that substantially boosts the State's investment in education, ensuring that all schools have the necessary resources to provide every student with an equitable and adequate education. Furthermore, I will promote critical legislation that provides enhanced capital improvement grants for the renovation and construction of school facilities, expand access to pre-k and early learning initiatives, as well as funding that more accurately reflects the actual cost of special education across the state. I will support to end the practice of wealthy towns retaining statewide education property tax (SWEPT) and increase per-pupil funding to alleviate the tax pressure on our property-poor towns. Lastly, I will advocate for legislation to hold the Education Freedom Account (EFA) program accountable. By investing in our education system, we are not just building better schools—we are crafting the very foundation of our future."
