Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the first trimester (e.g. after 6 weeks gestation)?
"Since it's a state-by-state issue, anything New Hampshire does really has no effect. I view the issue of abortion a lot like I view the issue of gun violence. It's not about the tool, it's about the person behind the action. I favor a cultural shift to turn the public against abortion, instead of just sending the women seeking abortions past the 2nd trimester to Vermont."

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the second trimester (e.g. after 15 weeks gestation)?

It's not about the tool, it's about the person behind the action. Should NH add a broad-based sales tax?
"We have a billion dollar surplus and our residents are fine. There is no need for new or higher taxes."

Should New Hampshire lower business taxes?
"Taxing businesses that bring in more than $10M in revenue quarterly could help us decrease other taxes that affect more people. Small business pays the state for permits and licenses, and I think any other taxation should be on the local level for them."

Should New Hampshire add a tax on capital gains?
"Again, for transactions greater than a certain threshold I could see the argument. I'm in favor of orienting our taxation towards those who can afford it, though not in a way that would make it punishing to pursue wealth. A 2-3% capital gains tax on purchases greater than $10M in exchange for eliminating the BET and lowering real estate taxes to match the added revenue would make sense to me."

Should New Hampshire government do more to address climate change?
"Environmental conservation, not 'climate change'. The climate changing is far out of our control, but we can stop these corporations from shuttling out-of-state trash to our landfills. That's where our attention and money should be."

Do you support giving voters who register without ID on Election Day a ballot that only counts if they return identifying documents to the state before a deadline?
"Anyone who can't be bothered to get an ID before election day shouldn't be voting. We need educated voters to choose the leaders of our state and federal governing bodies."

Should New Hampshire legalize the recreational use of marijuana by allowing home-growing and private use without sales?
"If it has to go through the liquor stores, we know it's being sold by the right people, TO the right people. Nobody who has stepped one foot in South Berwick wants to fully legalize cannabis like Maine did."

Should New Hampshire raise the minimum wage?
"The only businesses payming minimum wage in 2024 are family owned joints employing local kids to help the community. If we raise it, we hurt the kids and the business owners."

Should New Hampshire add legal protections for residents of other states who travel here for health care related to abortion or gender transition?
"It's a tough question. I don't want to step on other states' rights, but I also think crossing the border into New Hampshire should put the person and their actions under New Hampshire law."
