"58 percent of American adults or someone they care for have experienced gun violence in their lifetime. On average, more than 100 Americans are shot and killed every day — and twice that many are wounded.
"We shouldn’t live in a state and a country where we see gun violence happening or where our children are practicing active shooter drills in schools.
