"Drug addiction has been present for many years. I believe our society has taken the first step which is acknowledging that we all are affected directly and/or indirectly. In 2012, tragedy struck our family when our adult son, Nicholas died suddenly from alcohol abuse. We have personally felt and understand the grief families go through with the senseless loss of a loved one, be it from addiction to alcohol, drugs, and/or gun violence. I will work diligently on drug addiction funding for prevention, treatment, and recovery in our state."

"I support raising the minimum wage over time to $15 per hour. I have talked to many young families and working seniors who have multiple jobs just to make ends meet in an attempt to make a living wage."

"Yes, I support a family-medical leave insurance program concept. I'm running for state rep. for the first time and I plan on reviewing the current bill in more detail. I know in concept that the current bill will help families feel more secure knowing that they can still earn a living and be able to give quality time to attend a sick family member and/or child."

"the following gun laws require common sense gun safety:
"- N.H. state law does not allow the school districts & respective town residents to decide whether or not they want gun free school zones.
"- By N.H. law any adult is allowed to bring a gun into the schools or onto the school campuses.
"- Open carry firearms do not require owner safety training, or common sense precaution standards
"- Concealed carry firearms do not require applying for a permit from law enforcement."

"N.H. has both public and publicly supported charter schools that offer in school and/or online programs. N.H. public schools are open to all students regardless of religious affiliation, family background, country of origin, & learning ability. N.H. public school teachers are certified and students have access to services for learning disabilities. None of the above requirements are mandatory for private or religious schools. Parents have the right to choose different nonpublic educational institutes or methods. However, I do not support providing public tax dollars to nonpublic schools that are not held to the equivalent state standards."
