Position on Issues

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2010

Should NH abolish partisan primaries and adopt the "Top 2" primary system?

"Not sure if the top 2 primary is the right answer but I do believe that party preference or affiliation is irrelevant. Where one stands on issues and the character of the person running for office is more important. As I see it, voting has become like a sporting event, Us vs Them, rather than the best candidate."

Should NH keep the death penalty?

"If anyone is bold enough to violate the rights of another in such manner as murder, rape, treason, home invasion, I believe that they should lose their rights. And, if it was believed that the consequences or their actions would lead to death, it might deter such actions. We are equal but when one person takes another person rights, why should the rest of us be compassionate about their rights?"
