Should NH add an income tax on earned income?
"NH needs state tax reforms to dramatically reduce property taxes & tax the wealthiest among us at a fairer, more progressive rate. We need a robust discussion on taxation that dumps the outdated & so-called pledge. As Elizabeth Warren has said, 'For decades, the wealthy and the well-connected have put American government to work for their own narrow interests. As a result, a small group of families has taken a massive amount of the wealth American workers have produced, while America's middle class has been hollowed out.'"

Should New Hampshire raise the minimum wage?
"Ideally, NH workers need a livable wage. Certainly defaulting to the federal rate of $7.25 is absolutely unacceptable. I have been the lead sponsor of the Minimum Wage bill which gets to $15/hr over 4 years. This is reasonable and nobody who works full time should have to go on public assistance when they are working hard to care for themselves and their families."
