"Now in its third year, NH's school voucher program, known also as Education Freedom Accounts, provide more than 4,200 students from economically disadvantaged homes throughout NH options to traditional public schools. These vouchers allow a variety of options for students with personal learning needs that are not available in the public school system. The program is working well as expected. Noteworthy is the EFA program accounts for less than one percent of the total statewide and local education spending."

"Although in my heart I am pro-life and would prefer women consider giving their unwanted children up for adoption, I am okay with NH's current law which passed in 2022, which makes abortion legal up to the 24th week of pregnancy. I do agree with exceptions for abortion in cases of rape, incest, or the life of the mother is at risk. If NH decides to change its current law in the future, it certainly can. The truth is abortion is a States' Rights issue. According to the 10th Amendment, if an issue is not covered in the US Constitution, it reverts back to the states. For this reason, I do not believe in a federal law banning abortion or a federal law supporting abortion. The Feds have no business interfering on this emotional issue. Follow the Constitution and leave it up to the people of each state. Abortion has not been banned in NH."

"A lack of housing isn't the problem, inflation is. There seems to be quite a bit of new housing going up here in Dover and throughout NH. The problem is that it's unaffordable to most first home buyers and working people. Interest rates are coming down, but not fast enough for most people. The lopsided supply and demand and the resulting inflation was all started when President Biden closed the Keystone XL Pipeline on his first day in office. He also stopped oil companies from getting permits to drill. He provided leases, but without the permits the oil, or liquid gold as President Trump often refers to it, stays in the ground. Biden then made the decision to buy dirty oil from Venezuela and Iran, sworn enemies of the US. Everything we have, clothing, cars, houses, etc. are all dependent on the oil industry. The US has the cleanest and possibly the most oil in the world. If we truly want to bring down inflation and solve the housing crisis, we need to open up the oil and gas spickets and become energy independent. Everything from food, gas, mortgages, rent will come down in price."

"Every State is now a border State thanks to massive illegal immigration from the Biden-Harris administration. NH should never be a sanctuary State, nor should any city in NH be a sanctuary city. I am fully supportive of LEGAL immigration, in which we screen people coming from various countries to live here. Currently, there are some enemy nations that are emptying their prisions and sending them to the US. China, Iran, and other enemies of the US are sending terrorists and spies. Although NH does not have a border with Mexico, the Biden-Harris administration have been flying illegal immigrants into our country without vetting them. They receive bus passes, credit cards, free food, shelter while many of our own citizens are homeless (many veterans) or struggling to pay their own rent, food, and gas. NH has a small northern border with Canada which we must protect. More importantly we must not ever give free stuff of any kind, including drivers licenses (as Tim Walz does in MN) to illegal immigrants."

"I would not support any restictions to gun laws in NH. For example, we have had a constitutional gun carry law in NH since February of 2017. I have been a licensed conceal carry holder for decades and continue to be for the reason of reciprocity with certain other states. In addition to our country's Second Amanement, we also have in our NH Constitution Article 2-a. [The Bearing of Arms.] All persons have the right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, their families, their property and the state. I would never vote for restrictions on ammo, firearms, or any so-called 'assault weapons'. These are usually AR style weapons which are not necessarily the highest caliber, but simply look scary to many non-gun owners because of their appearance. My advice to anyone who wants to buy a firearm for the first time is to take lessons from an NRA sponsored course (offered at firearms ranges like the one I belong to (Major Waldron Sportsmen's Assoc.), Sig Sauer, White Birch Armory, etc. Safety comes first whether you are handing the firearm or storing it at home. The more training and practice with your firearms, the more confident, proficient, and safe you will be for yourself and those you protect around you."
