"I do not support contracts with Prager U because I believe that educational content provided to our students and communities must be fact-based, objective, and aligned with New Hampshire’s values of critical thinking. Prager U’s content has been criticized for promoting an extreme and partisan ideological agenda, which can distort historical facts and push political narratives rather than providing balanced, accurate education.
"As a candidate for Executive Council, I believe that public resources should be used to support unbiased, quality educational programs that encourage students to think critically and form their own informed opinions, rather than being exposed to politically motivated content. It’s important that we maintain a clear distinction between educational institutions and ideological platforms, ensuring that our schools, libraries, and public programs provide well-rounded, fact-based education that serves the entire community, not just one political perspective.
"In addition, partnering with organizations like Prager U could undermine trust in our public institutions, as many constituents may feel that their values are not being represented fairly or accurately. New Hampshire thrives on the diversity of thought, and public education must remain a neutral ground where all students are encouraged to engage with facts, ask questions, and develop their own viewpoints based on comprehensive, nonpartisan information."

"The individual’s professional background, expertise, and relevant experience are paramount. For judges, this means a deep understanding of the law, a strong track record in legal practice, and judicial temperament. For commissioners, expertise in the specific field they will oversee is crucial, whether it’s public health, infrastructure, or other key areas.
"Appointees should have a clear dedication to serving the public interest, rather than any personal or partisan agenda. For both judges and commissioners, their work impacts people’s lives and the wellbeing of the state as a whole, so a genuine commitment to public service is essential.
"For commissioners especially, having a vision for the future of the department they oversee and a willingness to embrace innovation can be key in addressing the challenges New Hampshire faces. Whether it’s in healthcare, education, or the environment, appointees should be forward-thinking and solutions-oriented.
"In summary, when making appointments to positions of great responsibility, such as judges or commissioners, we must prioritize qualifications, integrity, and a commitment to fairness and public service, while also seeking individuals who reflect the diversity and needs of the people of New Hampshire. These positions require thoughtful, ethical, and impartial leadership to ensure the effective and just governance of our state."

Should NH pass stricter gun control laws?
"I believe we can protect our kids and our 2nd Amendment rights at the same time. I am a gun owner and am proud of NH's rich tradition of responsible gun ownership. I will work with Republicans, Democrats & law enforcement to prioritize common-sense solutions to make our communities safer. What I won't do is arm school teachers or hold water for the extremes of either major political party."
