"Private schools are not public schools & should never receive funding from any state! Most egregiously, religious schools churches and other religious organizations. This is antithetical to the separation of church & state clause in the 1st amendment.

"When $ is pilfered from tax payers to private schools it makes our public schools weaker. Which of course is the goal of the Party of Lies."

"You've hear it before from individuals who call themselves Republicans, they portray anyone on center or left as snowflakes whenever they point out anything that protects Americans from racism, sexism & poverty. The usual line from Republicans is 'just work harder, or have thicker skin'.

"Yet, if you have read the news over the past few years, the real snowflakes today are in fact Republicans. The first place to look is the plethora of alleged Anti-Critical Race Theory bills being passed in Republican controlled state legislatures. These states who are banning CRT represents the tip of the iceberg; Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and Tennessee all banned CRT in schools. Even though its never been taught in a K-12 settings or college until well into one's graduate school career, if at all. South Dakota Republicans are in process of taking their snowflakiness to the next level. The South Dakota Legislature (dominated by Republicans) would put at legal risk any Board of Regent employee who teaches, advocates, acts upon, or promotes a list of 'divisive concepts' (whatever that means) at any mandatory training, such as August orientation sessions, for new students or staff.' Basically, Republicans don't want anyone to talk about anything that might make them uncomfortable. Instead, they want state sponsored control & censorship. What happened to countering ideas you don't agree with, with ideas that you can argue are better? Not for Republicans! Their fragile egos couldn't take the chance they would lose an argument. I hope they realize that every time they attempt to ban facts & truth, all they are doing is putting a huge spotlight on it. Republicans will do anything to control our country and promote their old agenda: Keep the working class down by spewing fanciful lies & propaganda. But when it backfires blame it on the Democrats. Facts are their Achilles heel, because it exposes the truth and they certainly cant have that."

"First, let me say that I don't have any issue with gun ownership for personal protection or hunting. But it is a weapon invented to maim or kill, so people should have intense background checks, training, testing, insurance & as well as waiting periods for anyone under the age of 21. As with vehicles, you should have to renew your license every 4 years. We now have over 400 million guns in the United States, thanks to gun lobbyists, the NRA & weapon manufacturers. It is excessive, unnecessary & dangerous! Citizens who don't carry guns also have rights; the right to feel safe in restaurants, churches, schools, when shopping or simply walking, driving & using public transportation."
