"I will also vote against any bills that allow for school vouchers or any other means used to get around the Constitutional mandate that public funds should not pay for private enterprises such as private or religious schools. That is substantial money that is being syphoned off from our public school funding from our property taxes."

"I decided in my first term in the Legislature in the 1990s that politicians do not belong in the middle of a woman and her doctors. I would support any law or Constitutional amendment that supports reproductive freedom, period."

"I served in the NH House for 10 years beginning in 1998. During that time the NH courts ordered the State to pay it’s fair share of education. The Legislature instead worked to find ways to pay the minimum amount that would satisfy the Court and Constitutional mandate. The State is currently in court again litigating over what the State’s fair share should be. I suspect that what the Court does will effect what the Legislature does. In any event, I will support any bills that requires the State to increase it’s share of the cost of education to take some of the load off of our property taxes which pay the bulk of educational expenses.
"I will also vote against any bills that allow for school vouchers or any other means used to get around the Constitutional mandate that public funds should not pay for private enterprises such as private or religious schools. That is substantial money that is being syphoned off from our public school funding from our property taxes."
