"The survey questions don't capture who I have been over the past four terms in the NH House and with the support of Citizens Count, I offer this supplement.

"I'm a Constitutional Conservative who runs as a Republican.  The individual is the center of my political philosophy and I accept the challenge of our founding documents to support every individual's pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.  This is in contrast to the other party that seems to think government is the solution to all problems and if only we taxed enough and spent enough, we could achieve a form of Nirvana.  That has failed to produce in California or many other states where people are fleeing to seek more opportunity which is supported by more freedom.  NH is unique in New England in delivering on nation leading freedom and an economy that goes with it.  New England needs to be more like us.

"Every term, I've made and kept my promises to Preserve Your Rights, Respect Your Family, Protect Your Wallet, Expand School Choice, Grow the Economy, Deliver Results, and Otherwise Leave You Alone.  Every vote in the thousands I've cast in committees and on the floor are consistent with those promises.  As Chairman of the Finance Committee's largest subcommittee, I've been in a position to improve healthcare and protect the taxpayer."
