Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"Absolutely not. Clearly someone who is 300% below the poverty level could not afford the remaining tuition. Many private schools are not accountable. The cost is already $14 million. About 89% of NH students using the EFA program did not attend public schools. It is a family choice, a value-based decision to attend a private school, and should not demonize the public school system. As a retired Elemtary School teacher I support public schools."

Should New Hampshire ban discussions about sexual orientation and gender identity in grades K-3?
"We should not micromanage education. It's a culture war. By removing books from school libraries that include themes of sexuality and gender it is a climate that has left many students and educators with a sense of whiplash. Restrictions can lead to incomplete and inaccurate lessons making students afraid to talk about themselves exacerbating mental health disparities that exist in the LGBTQ community, I am not aware of sex education being taught in K-3."

Should New Hampshire add a tax credit for businesses that contribute to student loan repayment for employees?
"Funding education has always been important to me. Education should be affordable, therefore a company that would pay back student loans would attract more talent. Think about all of the tax-deductible perks for executives. It is incredibly tax efficient with both the employer and the student getting a tax break. Student loans are complicated, and a company would benefit from a custom student loan plan."

Should New Hampshire legalize the recreational use of marijuana by allowing home-growing and private use without sales?
"Lawmakers have already decriminalized small amounts of marijuana and have annulled records of those locked up for marijuana possession. It would show that NH has a willingness to get in step with all of the states that surround it. Of course a methodology for handling it is imperative."
