"I think it is distracting yes but you could say having someone else in your car is distracting. Texting might be very difficult to enforce but we need to educate people about texting and the time their eyes are not on the road."

"The standards as I know at this point are meant to make it easier to teach all children across the US so there is consistency. It is designed to help students become thinkers, it does not take creativity in curriculum away from teachers. This is another issue I need to study."

Should New Hampshire continue to participate in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, which requires utilities to purchase allowances for every ton of carbon they emit?
"I don't know enough about the original structure to say but I do believe NH should particapate. Working with 8 other neighboring states in the Northeastern makes sense if we are going to clean our atmosphere by cutting carbon emissions and it has created jobs. I think this is a program we should be proud of."

"Safety is the issue. Without insurance people are taking a big risk that inturn effects other. It should be required."
