China also plays a central role in many global supply chains, especially in sectors like electronics, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Disrupting these supply chains could lead to shortages and economic instability. However, we do need to bring diplomatic talks to the table, because tensions have increasingly been rising between China and the U.S. They also align themselves with some of our major foreign adversaries. In the long run, we have to be very proactive to ensure that we are not funding our enemies and putting Americans at risk."
