Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?

On the 2020 Citizens Count issue survey, West indicated she was "against" New Hampshire allocating tax revenues for private and home schooling costs. West wrote, "Building a stronger public education program is of primary importance. Doing so will bring more students back to our public schools and improve our children's outcomes. The most important aspect is to bring confidence, and a foundational understanding of the world as our children will be our leaders in the future."

However, stricter laws are inevitably needed when we have violence issues in our families and our communities. We need to feel safe with guns. If driving a car is regulated by age and ability because it can be a weapon, then something even more dangerous, i.e., a gun, needs to have regulations as well."
