On the Granite State Taxpayers survey, Wood answered "Yes" to the question, "Do you support additional school choice options?" Wood also wrote, "Currently on a committee that has submitted a charter for a public school which is currently in review by the DOE. I am also in favor of school vouchers and putting the parents back in charge."

"Property taxes are too high, the current system will only force property taxes higher, enough is enough. Our state’s current system of public-school funding is broken. NH doesn’t need Superintendents, or assistant Superintendents; it is best going with local control with the Principal of the School and the School Board working together.
