Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"The voucher system is out of control. There is no accountability on the private or home schooling or financial income of families. Once you are in the system, no further financial information is required. If the same criteria was applied to public schools, private schooling would not be necessary. There is no accountability as to the number of special needs students attending private schools. Most private schools do not have severely special needs in their population. There is no accountability for this population. Teachers do not need to be certified to teach in private schools. Private schools can teach in any manner they see fit to meet the class population. Public schools require teachers to be certified. Teachers must adhere to the teaching regulations of state and federal standards, unlike private schools. ALL students are accepted in public schools. The Education Freedom Account must be abolished."
