Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"The lack of transparency and oversight required when it comes to this program should outrage every taxpayer across this state, regardless of their party affiliation. It has also ballooned from the original 300,000 estimate to now well over 24 million and county. Had the truth been told this abhorrent and very sloppy piece of legislation would have never passed."

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the first trimester (e.g. after 6 weeks gestation)?
"I am proud to stand up for the rights of all people to be in charge of their reproductive choices, no matter the reason. I have personally had an abortion and it is time we end the stigma that has gone on for so long."

Should NH add an income tax on earned income?
"I will assess all tax legislation from the perspective of supporting progressive taxation. No one loves paying taxes. However, we need taxes in order to fund critical social services. My philosophy is those who can contribute more (wealthy individuals & corporations) should pay more. Additionally, I believe people are more likely to feel good about taxes if the money is spent on services that everyone benefits from (schools, healthcare, parks, etc). In societies with strong social services there is less violence. As a result, there is less of a need to spend money on criminalization & militarization."

Should NH add a broad-based sales tax?
"We must look at how revenue is raised, and consider all options when restructuring, however, taxing basic necessities through a sales tax is a regressive tax and will disproportionately hurt working-class families and therefore I oppose it."

Should New Hampshire lower business taxes?
"I would only support tax decreases for small locally owned businesses. Corporations need to be paying their fair share in taxes. I have no interest in supporting corporate welfare."

Should New Hampshire government do more to address climate change?
"Absolutely. The health and future of our citizens and environment depend on our water and air being clean. There is also an economic impact on our tourism industry, which is the lifeblood of so many communities across our state."

Do you support giving voters who register without ID on Election Day a ballot that only counts if they return identifying documents to the state before a deadline?
"SB418 has been a disastrous infringement of our right to privacy by removing any anonymity related to voting. Not only is that bad for our democracy, but it makes it more difficult for both military personnel and students to vote."

Do you support legislation to expand the net energy metering system capacity cap from 1 MW to 5 MW for all residential and commercial customers in New Hampshire?
"This is necessary for energy prices to go down for everyone. This also allows for programs such as community power to operate and exist."

Do you support New Hampshire’s current system of public school funding, with about two-thirds of total funding coming from local property taxes?

Should NH require local law enforcement to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement?
"We were able to defeat this particular racist and inhumane legislation this past session. Even the police chiefs opposed this bill, publicly stating how it would negate all of the hard work they have done when it comes to community policing and relationship building within their communities."

Should NH pass stricter gun control laws?
"I am tired of the mass shootings and the fact NH has no gun free school zone laws. We also fail to require any background checks for gun shows and internet sales. These are the least we can do to keep guns out of the hands of the wrong people."
