"I agree that there are abuses by single police officers and so cases departments. The weaponization of police departments is a concern to me. Also of concern is the growing disregard for the brave women and men who risk their lives protecting us daily . This issue should be addressed at the same time. I come to this position as my father was a peace officer and I have seen personally both sides of the equation."
