Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"Absolutely not. Taking away funding from public schools is how we get lower outcomes from graduating classes. For-profit education does a disservice to our communities by weakening our schools. I am for very strong public schools."

Should New Hampshire government do more to address climate change?
"Climate change will hit us differently than most of the country. Everyone is going to move here when other parts of the U.S. heat up and dry up. We can either get ahead of the curve and lead by example or be in an even worse position when this gets much more devastating. We should absolutely be transitioning to cleaner sources of energy and look for any opportunities to improve our future positions."

Should the state do more to encourage municipalities to remove zoning barriers to housing development?
"Currently, and in the coming years we are going to have to be more flexible in how we approach our housing crisis. If we think things are difficult now, they will only get worse."

Should the state increase funding for child care providers?
"We are pushing families further and further into hardships. We expect families to have both parents working in order to survive here. We all know childcare is very difficult to attain and then to pay for. The government needs to be involved here in order to take the burden off our families. Families should have access to affordable, high-quality child care and I will always support that."

Do you support New Hampshire’s current system of public school funding, with about two-thirds of total funding coming from local property taxes?
"The way we fund our schools in New Hampshire is pretty bad. Our state government doesn't even provide enough to help fund our schools properly. They were sued for it, lost, and our students still suffer from inadequate funding. I am against property taxes funding schools in how it is today. You should be able to get a high-quality education anywhere in the state. If you live in a lower tax zone right now, you don't get as much money per student. We need equality and a fair tax system across the state."

Should New Hampshire raise the minimum wage?
"By continuing to pay lower wages to the people of New Hampshire, we will continue to encourage our youth to leave our state in search of better jobs, make it even more difficult to develop a sustainable workforce, and make us all poorer than our neighboring states."
