SB 63 (2023)
Revise power of local public health officers
Summary:
Enables municipalities to adopt a tax credit for qualified private community property owners. "Qualified private community property owners" are part of a small community (e.g. condo development) that maintain their own roads, water, and sewer.
The Senate completely rewrote the bill. The new bill limits the power of public health officers to make regulations, so that there must be a "threat" to public health.
