Raise cap on damages for losing loved one in wrongful death

Summary:

Removes the cap on damages for wrongful death "loss of consortium" claims. In other words, this bill removes the $150,000 cap on damages for losing companionship of the person in a wrongful death lawsuit.

The Senate amended the bill to raise the cap to $500,000 for an adult and $300,000 for a child.
