Require pretrial detention after failing to appear 3 times in 3 years
Summary:
If a person out on bail has failed to appear three times within the past three years for more serious offenses (felony, class A misdemeanor, or DUI), this bill requires the person to be detained until trial. The person detained would still have an opportunity to argue for release at a bail hearing.
