Allow renewable energy generators in ISO-NE electricity markets to also participate in net metering, revise other net metering laws
Summary:
Allows renewable energy generators in ISO-NE electricity markets to retain their market participant status while also participating in net metering. This bill also modifies the laws around changes to net metering. For example, this bill states that customers with existing generator interconnection agreements may be required to replace or pay for the replacement of existing meters, but cannot be required to relocate metering equipment.
