Summary:
Gives the Department of Transportation (DOT) 90 days to process driveway permits if the residential development is a major traffic generator.
The Senate rewrote the bill. The new bill creates an optional, expedited driveway permit for major entrances for residential development of 20 units or greater.
The House added a requirement for the DOT to approve or deny permit applications for a driveway within 60 days of receipt of application.
