Study procedure for forfeiture in drug cases
Summary:
Establishes a procedure for the forfeiture of items used in connection with a drug offense. Generally speaking, this bill makes it more difficult for the government to pursue items to be forfeited.
The House amended the bill to instead establish a committee to study the procedure for forfeiture.
