Revise renewable portfolio standard
Summary:
Requires the Department of Energy to phase out the minimum electric renewable portfolio standard (RPS) over a 5-year period.
The House rewrote the bill to instead make various changes to the renewable portfolio standard, such as excluding the participation of government-mandated offshore wind.
