Conduct facility assessment of public schools
Summary:
Establishes a school building aid fund within the education trust fund. This bill then requires the Department of Education to contract with a vendor to conduct a facility assessment of public schools and create a ranked list of schools most in need of construction or renovation.
The House rewrote the bill to only require the department to contract with a vendor to conduct a facility assessment of public schools.
