Require Dept. of Energy to coordinate studies on nuclear, wind energy

Summary:

Requires the Department of Energy to coordinate the continuing studies by various state agencies on the uses and development of nuclear energy, including advanced nuclear reactors. The House amended the bill to also require them to coordinate studies on wind energy. This bill then renames the Office of Offshore Wind Industry Development to the Office of Offshore Wind Industry Development and Energy Innovation.
