Summary:
Clarifies the calculation of sub-minimum wage earners and tipped employees for the unemployment system. This bill state that wages for sub-minimum wage earners should be calculated based on what they would have earned if they were paid the prevailing minimum wage. Wages for tipped employees should be calculated based on the prevailing minimum wage or wages with tips, whichever is greater.
